Protecting Your Personal Information

Banking with MetroWest Community FCU is one of the best ways to keep your money and financial information safe and secure. However, you should be aware of the various types of fraud and scams that are being used by criminals today and the measures that we have in place to keep your accounts and identity safe.

MetroWest Community FCU will never ask for personal information via the internet, email or by text message. If you receive any requests for personal information, such as your Social Security number, debit or credit card numbers, PIN or account numbers, by phone, text, email or other electronic method, please call us immediately at (877) 482-6055 or 508-879-5522.


Use extra caution before clicking on links in emails, unfamiliar websites, unknown texts and suspicious phone calls. If you get a pop-up message on your computer, you should not click on it or enter any personal information. 
Here are some things you can do to protect yourself::

• Close the pop-up; Click the “X” in the top right corner of the window
• Run an antivirus scan
• Keep Window and software up to date.
• Restart your computer

If a website or email appears that it's coming from MetroWest Community FCU give us a call to verify before taking any action.
