MetroWest Community FCU will never ask for personal information via the Internet, email, or by text message. If you receive any requests for personal information, such as your Social Security number, debit or credit card numbers, PIN, or account numbers by phone, text, email, or other electronic method, please call us immediately at (877) 482-6055 or (508) 879-5522.
Use extra caution before clicking on links in emails, unfamiliar websites, unknown texts, and suspicious phone calls. If you get a pop-up message on your computer, you should not click on it or enter any personal information.
Here are some things you can do to protect yourself:
Close the pop-up; Click the “X” in the top right corner of the window
Run an antivirus scan
Keep Windows and software up to date
Restart your computer
